The Village of Yellow Springs Utilities Department now offers a one-time sewer credit for swimming pool fills.
If you are planning on filling a swimming pool, contact the Utility office at 937-767-7202, Option 2, no later than 24 hours prior to the start of your fill. A meter reader will be scheduled to come out to take an initial meter reading, and again no later than 48 hours after the fill. A credit will then be issued on the sewer portion only of your next bill.
No credits will be given on pool fills without the Village obtaining meter reads before and after the fill.
