Event Description:
2020 was a very challenging year for all of us. 2,700 blood drives were canceled last year, over 80 percent of all Red Cross donations. The need for blood is constant and with low donations, (worst case scenario) Blood shortages.
We use 36,000 units of red blood cells in the US every day, and one person needs blood every two seconds.
The need for blood and platelets is constant.
But if you give one pint of blood, (just one!) you could be saving three lives.
