Open year-round for Village residents ages 10–19, the Youth Center offers a safe, welcoming space for teens to connect, participate in activities, enjoy meals, and access supportive programming.

BEATTY HUGHES PARK
Beatty Hughes Park, located between Kieth’s Alley and Corry Street, is close to both downtown and the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Beatty Hughes gets its name from two former Village leaders: William Beatty, a former Village Council member whose family owned the property where the park is now located, and Leo Hughes, a former Village mayor.
BILL DUNCAN PARK
Located at the junction of Limestone and Dayton Streets, this serene park features a large green space, many mature trees, and one of the village's community gardens.
ELLIS PARK & LLOYD KENNEDY ARBORETUM
Ellis Park is located on Polecat Road, just north of the village. It is also accessible from the Little Miami Scenic Trail via a short, paved spur. The park's main features are a shallow pond and a pavilion with picnic tables. There are also several park benches located around the pond. You can support enhancements to the site by donating to the Lance Jordan Friends of Ellis Pond Fund.
GAUNT PARK & POOL
Gaunt Park, located on W. South College Street, is the Village's largest park. The two softball diamonds at the park are used by men's and women's leagues and the Perry League, the local tee-ball program. The Yellow Springs Youth Baseball Program also plays at Gaunt Park every summer.
Gaunt Park is also home to the community swimming pool. The summer pool season begins each year on Memorial Day Weekend. For 2026, the season will open on Saturday, May 23. For more about Gaunt Park Pool, CLICK HERE for the current information sheet.
GLASS FARM CONSERVATION AREA
Glass Farm is a 42-acre site located in the northwestern quadrant of the Village. The eastern portion is preserved through an 11-acre conservation easement, and the western 6 acres is devoted to a Village solar array.
Named for long-serving Village employee Hilda Rahn, this small park is located downtown on the Little Miami Scenic Trail. It is home to the Yellow Springs Train Station, as well as the bronze sculpture of Yellow Springs community benefactor Wheeling Gaunt.
LITTLE MIAMI SCENIC TRAIL
Six miles of railroad right-of-way, acquired by the Village, are now part of the Little Miami Scenic Trail. The local bike path, popular with bicyclists, skaters, and walkers, links Yellow Springs with Springfield to the north and Loveland to the south.
The Yellow Springs Train Station is located next to the bike path and provides trail support, including public restrooms. The facility also houses the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce.
SPRING MEADOWS PARK
This small, community playground is located in the Spring Meadows neighborhood of the village.
TODDLER PARK
This small, community playground is located at the John Bryan Community Center near the Little Miami Scenic Trail.
WHITEHALL PARK
This small, community green space is located in the Fair Acres neighborhood of the village.
WOMEN'S PARK
Founded by former villager Gene Trolander, this park was created to celebrate the lives of Yellow Springs women. Nestled along the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the park features a native garden maintained by community volunteers, as well as over 800 hand-crafted ceramic tiles honoring specific women with a connection to the village.
