Village of Yellow Springs, Ohio
The Planning Commission may recommend zoning, building codes, plat, map, and official plan ordinances and shall have all the powers granted to and shall perform all the duties imposed upon planning commissions and platting commissioners by the laws of Ohio including all statutes now or hereafter enacted. The Planning Commission shall in addition have all the powers granted by and shall perform all the duties imposed upon them by ordinance. The Planning Commission may submit to the Village Manager a list of recommended capital improvements which in the opinion of the Commission are necessary or desirable to be constructed during at least the next five years. The Planning Commission shall have power, within its budget appropriation and available funds, to contract with professional planning and other consultants for such services as it may require.
The Planning Commission meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6PM in Council Chambers on the Second Floor of the John Bryan Community Center.
